Ivy Elizabeth Cole
Voice and Piano
Ivy, a native New Jersey gal recently returned, has a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, a Certification in Kodaly Pedagogy from The Potomac Arts Academy of George Mason University, and a Master of Music and Worship Studies from Liberty University. As a performing artist, she has performed in Europe and in many areas of the East Coast, including sharing a stage with the late Rosemary Clooney and Debbie Boone at the Valley Forge Music Fair. Her work includes experiences in musical theatre, opera, concerts, comedy and drama, as well as various film projects that have earned her several nominations, awards, and honors. Ivy has performed with several hard rock and alternative bands, recording an album with her group Original Synergy, and is currently working with songwriter and producer Todd Wright of HalfKing Music as a solo artist. Her first single is out now.
As an educator, Ivy was the former Performing Arts Director of Ad Fontes Academy in Centreville, VA also teaching K-12 music and drama, and general music teacher for K-8 th grades at Ambleside School in Herndon, VA. She has also taught various musical and acting workshops at Center for the Arts in Manassas, VA. She is currently the general music teacher, choir director, and drama coach for Trinity Preparatory School in Medford, NJ and coaches private voice and acting. More than just a performer and an educator, Ivy has directed, been the musical director, choreographed and been the dialect coach for various stage productions, and has been a stage manager, drama instructor, modeling and television instructor and general go-to-gal. Ivy has been a worship leader for her church, and is currently attending Fellowship Community Church, with her family, in which she prays to join the team in the future.
She has been teaching for over 20 years coaching many individuals and groups within multiple organizations and age levels and loves every minute she spends with her students.
